Azerbaijan
Trained seven bankers, one farmer and two food processors, from
Azerbaijan, in an Agricultural Credit Study Tour, a USAID project,
which took place in Cape Girardeau, St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri
State, US in June, 1999.
Moldova
Carried out the Production and Marketing of Fresh Fruits Study Tour in Poland,
over the period of October 6-15, 2005. The training program was organized for ten selected
officials from private farming companies and a university faculty in Moldova, all with direct
relationship in their professional work with production and marketing of fresh fruits in their home country.
Organized River Basin Management study tour in Hungary during the period of April 19-25, 2004.
The study tour consisted of an interactive and intensive observational study tour for 5 members
of the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia, Water Resources Management Agency and water basin management bodies.
Carried out "Association Development in Central and Eastern Europe, learning from Hungarian experience" study tour for 29 Moldovan farmers.
The study tour took place in Hungary during the period of November 4-15, 2003.
For a large US seed company, managed a project to supply inputs for agriculture.
Developed and monitored an innovative, multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural
training program to prepare Moldovan and US university students
for careers in international agribusiness.
Conducted on-the-job training for employees in start up business
skills including communications, language, interviewing, report
writing, and market development.
Arranged meetings and gathered information necessary for introducing
hybrid popcorn into Moldova and the subsequent export to the US.
Served as a consultant for the Environmental and Policy Technology
Project for needs assessment, specifications for procurement, developing
training materials, and demonstration site selection.
Surveyed and prepared company profiles on 24 enterprises for the
USDA/TIP Agribusiness Opportunity Mission to Moldova.
Trained participants from Moldova and Belarus in land and agrarian
reform issues and import/export regulation as follow on training,
to that received in the US as part of a USAID funded project. Took
place in Moldova.
Supply consulting for liquidation of inventory and equipment in
Moldova for an US-based seed company with ownership from the United
Kingdom.
Organized a set of 3-day seminars, Management for Small Privatized
Farms, in six regions of Moldova.
Romania
For a large US seed company, managed a project to supply inputs
for agriculture.
Ukraine
Provided administrative and logistic support for US Advisors from
US.
Carried out Water Resources Management study tour for 14 selected officials from governmental
organizations and private companies in Ukraine. The study tour took place in Hungary during the
period of September 25 - October 3, 2004.
Organized Agricultural Land Reform Training for 22 agricultural professionals from Ukraine,
a USAID funded project. The training took place in Moldova, Hungary, and Poland in February 2002.
Trained Ukrainian participants in Integrated Rural Market Development,
a USAID funded project. Took place in Missouri State University
in November 1999.
Trained Ukrainian participants in Agricultural Development and
Management, a USAID funded project. Took place in Missouri State
University in July 1998.
